I hope that you're all well and enjoying the off season.

I can't believe that we have come to the end of the 2024 season, what a ride!!

On field, we had a successful season with 11 of our 13 teams who play finals actually make it to the finals. 9 played in the preliminary final and 6 playing in the Grand Final. We walked away with a premiership in the U14 Boys and a win in the U10 Carnival as well. 

We had a club first with both of our U14 boys playing off against each other in the grand final, which was an amazing effort. A true highlight occurred the week before the U14 red team cheering on the U14 black team in the preliminary final against Crib Point with some absolute gusto and then to join them in the circle to sing the celebratory club song was a moment I will cherish for a long time.

Off field, we had some amazing club nights with our inaugural Christmas in July, a huge success with Santa even flying in on a chopper!! The looks on children and families faces, and the pure joy was priceless. The trivia night was a fun night had by all.

We culminated the year with our Shelley Heath and Lachie Whitfield awards nights for our U16 Boys, Girls and U18 Girls celebrating their respective years. The photos from the night are a true reflection of the joy they all had. Then to bring the celebrations to an end we capped it off with our legendary presentation day and fireworks display. It was excellent to see so many Mounties Families enjoying the day/evening. Hopefully a memory all of us will remember for a long time to come.

I would like to take the time to thank all of our players, families and carers for all your efforts throughout the year, you seriously make it all worth the effort.

To our amazing committee and volunteers, I can't thank you enough for the tireless effort you have invested since October last year. You're the reason we get to watch our children play the game they love each & every week. It has been an absolute pleasure to work with you all this year and for that I am eternally grateful.

Personally, it's been a sensational experience being the Mounties President for 2024, I have absolutely loved it!!!

Finally, bring on 2025!!!!
